My practice of painting, drawing and collage combines delicate and ephemeral gestures with slight interventions to produce works that expose the quality of their own medium against an intuitive sense of placement and appropriation.
Working with motifs sourced from popular forms of visual culture, such as comics, magazines and the Internet my works examine the processes that exist between an artwork, its source material and the context of its exhibition.
I produce subtle installations and configurations of works that question the boundaries between the intentional and the incidental and the significance of the gesture of the artist.
